This group is for acoustic lovers who are self trained to those who are classically trained. Advanced beginners to professionals are invited. (Advanced beginner meaning players should be able to move smoothly through 3-4 basic chords). While the name says "guitar", this group is acoustic in general. Bluegrass Jam at NOVA Music Center. Welcomes all ages and abilities. NOVA Music currently hosts an successful Acoustic Jam every Friday and some of the members have expressed interest for a Bluegrass Jam. Right now we are thinking Sunday afternoon.
This group was started to provide a place for acoustic instrument musicians of all playing levels to meet, jam, collaborate and have fun playing with others. The hope is to have a convenient location and time for regular biweekly jams. Another goal is to find a venue to host a regular open-mic.
Primarily dedicated to new and intermediate bluegrass players and fans. Just an old fashioned JAM / WORKSHOP session for traditional acoustic players and those who want to learn.
